VOICE & PIANO
Sarah Marie Krupka graduated cum laude from the Lawrence Conservatory of
Music, receiving her Bachelors of Music degree in Vocal Performance. There,
she excelled in vocal and piano pedagogy, performance and audition
technique, advanced acting and theater arts, regional and international
language and diction studies, advanced breathing technique, music theory
and history, sight singing, aural skills, and musical composition and
interpretation. Sarah is also a nationally accredited pilates instructor, a
unique exercise genre, emphasizing core strength, spinal health and
alignment, and breathing technique. She attributes this pilates knowledge in
conjunction with her vocal studies, as enhancing breath support, performance
endurance, building posture, vocal tract alignment, performance ease, and of
course breath efficiency. Sarah has incorporated this knowledge to give her
students a greater kinesthetic understanding and awareness and has
significantly enhanced the technique, skill, and performance of all of her
students.
Sarah Marie Krupka has been a performer for over 18 years and continues to
be an active performer. Having performed in an array of venues, locally as well
as Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, the Quad Cities, and Chicago, she is a
well seasoned singer and actress. Among her credits include some 30+
productions including opera, music theater, jazz, and even rock shows.
Although her performing career is of great importance, her true passion is
teaching and observing the dedication and advancing skill of her students.
Sarah Marie Krupka most recently graduated from the Comtemporary
Commercial Music Institute of Vocal Pedagogy, specializing in musical
theatre, pop, rock, jazz, christian contemporary, gospel, folk, country, and
r&b vocal stylings. Sarah coached extensively with Bob Marks (who's
students include Christina Aguilera) and Jeanette Lovetri (who's students
include Grammy award nominee Kate McGarry and many more) crafting her
own contemporary and belt technique.
PIANO & VOICE
Mariel Sarah Mohns was born in Milwaukee and raised in Greendale, WI.
She began piano lessons at the age of 4 and throughout the years she eagerly
learned to play her favorite classical pieces, songs, and show tunes.
In middle school and high school, Mariel became heavily involved with the music
program in band, orchestra, and choir. She continued to study classical piano
independently, and discovered that she wanted to further pursue her piano studies
at a collegiate level.
Mariel enrolled as a 5-year double degree candidate at Lawrence University in
Appleton, WI. There she took classes for a Bachelor of Arts in Biology as well as
pursued a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Lawrence Conservatory
of Music. She studied piano under the instruction of Michael Kim, who is now
Dean of Music at Brandon University in Canada, as well as a brief semester with
Dmitri Novgorodsky and Emma Tahmizian.
While at Lawrence University, Mariel became involved with the Jazz Singers ensemble,
studied voice, and participated in musical theatre productions. She developed a love for
accompanying and collaboration, and also offered accompanying services to area high
school musicians. Mariel earned her two degrees in 2008, and upon graduation, started
her own piano studio.

KIDDY KEYS
My name is Jackie Wassink and I'm a Licensed KiddyKeys Educator. I thank
my mother for instilling in me the love of music and giving me a tender heart
for children. I've had the pleasure of working with young pre-school age
children teaching Creative Play for over 15 years. When I learned of the
KiddyKeys program I knew this would be a perfect fit for me. Teaching
KiddyKeys has given me the best of both worlds. A music program written for
young children presented in an inviting age appropriate manner through the
use of storybooks, puppets, visuals, songs and finger plays. Children are
exposed to the piano keyboard, written music, marching, dancing, singing,
rhythm instruments and activity sheets to reinforce each days lesson.
