Sarah Vincent, Piano, Woodwinds, and Brass Instructor

Sarah Vincent, Brass, Woodwind and Piano Instructor, is a 2010 graduate of the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, majoring in Instrumental Music Education. Her primary instrument is the trombone and secondary instruments are the flute and piano. In college she played the trombone in many different settings, including the Lawrence University Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and the National Band Association Wisconsin Chapter All-State Honor Band. In her junior year Sarah played both trombone and flute on her half-recital.

Her piano experience extends from her love of playing the instrument. She learned to play at the age of 12 without formal lessons and continued to practice on her own until reaching college, when she had classes and lessons in piano. In college she worked as a solo and ensemble accompanist for high school students in Kimberly, WI, and as an accompanist for trombone players in the conservatory. She also periodically served as a pianist for Sigma Alpha Iota, an International Music Fraternity of which she is an alumna, and Lawrence Christian Fellowship.

Sarah lives in her hometown of Sheboygan Falls. In Sheboygan County, Sarah has been a pianist and flutist at Fortress of Peace Bible Church in Sheboygan Falls as well as Bethel Baptist Church in Sheboygan. She has been a member of the Plymouth Municipal Band in Plymouth, WI in both trombone and flute, and assists periodically with band students at Sheboygan Falls Middle School. Sarah also periodically subs for the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra as a trombonist.
